(雪佛蘭) plug-in hybrid vehicle 預計在2010年量產的電動車的概念車在通用的發表會上再次亮相
其實這一款概念車很久之前(2007底特律車展) 就已經出現在媒體上, 它的定價預計會落在30000~40000美金,不過如果台灣引進販售的話可能是天價吧! 總之,記住一句話,環保,-只是有錢人的權利! (說到這,忍不住又要抱怨政府,保護國內的車廠太久,而且對汽車自主生產一點幫助都沒有)
GM已經在設計上大致完成,預計在兩周內會有原型車提供測試,到年底會累積到50輛測試車.
相對於他前一世代失敗的的產品EV-1, Volt在美國本土已經有3~4萬人排隊, 還有媒體預測,這應該是可以拯救已經賠了一屁股的通用汽車的武器之一,Volt的概念跟現在的Hybrid不大一樣,它基本上也可以直接充電(electrical outlet),充飽一次電可以跑大概60~70km,足夠應付現在的通勤所需, 如果要長途旅行, Volt有內建一個小發電機可以在電池耗盡時候對汽車充電, 永遠都是由電力來驅動, 他不像Hybrid的架構是可以同時擁有油電系統驅動的.
Volt E-Flex系統由

的車主大部分的錢都花在這了, 對於電池成本的降低是未來與其他廠商競爭的一大課題)
* 充電一次可以跑40-mile (65km)
* 把小發電機的充電功能加上去可以跑500-mile (800km) 有人說是640mile 總之3位數的油耗表現絕無僅有
* 可以在極低溫與高溫環境下運轉行駛
聽起來還不賴, 有很多專家不看好這一款車能夠及時量產,因為這是一款全新的概念車,短短3~4年要把他推到市場確實有他的難度, 不過至少,GM已經踏出第一步,在市場上奪得先機,雖然日本豐田早已在秘密研發新車(據稱也會在2010年面世. 我還是很希望這類的概念車可以在台灣上市.
